Step Two

Digging the moat

Moat is to be dug as part of defense as it plays a major role in defense mechanism plus you can create a wonderful fish pond too. Even though it is expensive you can decide the depth of the moat. Finish off the process by lining concrete on the sides sealing with plastic which is hardened and also with the traditional stones to improve its beauty.

Step Three

Laying down the foundation

This is a pretty important step to be done as you can start with the foundation for the castle and it could be done wither with stone or concrete. If there is any idea of having courtyard or inner wall you can leave the place as it is by concreting or putting dirt.

Step Four

Stacking the Stones

Sandwich the stones by stacking them on top for the walls using mortar or concrete in between them. Use good sized stones as it marks the strength of the walls.

Step Five

Adding up additional features

This is the time to add in as many features are needed such as doors, windows, tiny holes etc. This has to be done as the wall construction proceeds further. Earlier big holes were used in the walls, if you are to have glass windows it has to be fixed up earlier itself.

Step Six

Rook construction

The final part of building castle is to finish off with the roof construction. The material used is either stone or wood as it promotes security from the arrows from archers. The ultimate touch is given by placing the flag at the top point and there you have your castle all set to rule!
